10 Reasons NOT to Visit Slovenia (read before you judge!)

2 m read

Guys, I have a confession to make. Slovenia is a super overrated destination to visit. I’ve been lying to you all along. Here is a list of 10 reasons of why I think you should skip Slovenia for your next life-changing trip.

1| There is green postcard like scenery everywhere. I guess one can get tired of that very quickly.

2| They do have a coastline too, but who would want to see these views?

3| Wine is like their national drink. Everywhere you go, people will have a wine yard all for themselves! Selfish much?

4| The food will make you gain some extra pounds. Who wants that to go through that during vacation? Obviously the reason people travel is to get fit!

5| Their most iconic location is an island in the middle of a lake. I feel like they are trying way too hard to copy Disney fairytales.

6| The capital’s symbols is a dragon and as we all know, dragons are super scary.

7| Ljubljana’s city center looks like a mini Prague but without too many tourists. Who will want to visit such an underrated place like that? Gimme overcrowded touristic locations!

8| During the summer there is an Open food festival every Friday where you can eat all kinds of dishes from all over the world. Ugh, calories…

9| Their desserts will give you a sweetness overload. Yuck, who eats dessert for that?

10| There is also lots of beer though, but who wants to drink that during the holidays?  Water is the go-to drink while on vacations, ammright? 10-beer

KIDDING, GUYS! TOTALLY KIDDING!

I totally got you there, didn’t I? Okay, maybe not so much. But you have to give it to me for trying. I guess now you guys have to list 10 reasons of why you haven’t visited Slovenia yet.

Did Slovenia made your bucket list?
