If you’ve been following the news lately then you know that the past couple of weeks have been devasting for Mexico, with several earthquakes hitting the South and the nation’s capital Mexico City. Yesterday, 32 years after the most devasting earthquake Mexico City had seen, it was hit by yet another catastrophic one at a magnitude of 7.1.
I’m writing this post for anyone wondering how they can help Mexico right now wherever you are. Your help will be deeply appreciated.
If you’re outside of Mexico, the easiest way to help is by donating. At the moment there are two main organizations that need urgent help, Topos and the Red Cross.
Topos is a professional non-profit Mexican rescue team that are not only saving people in Mexico City right now, they are also still working in other of the affected areas from previous events.
How can you help?
In Mexico you can donate at:
No. Account: 92-00070929-4

There are several ways you can help the Red Cross:
1. You can help by donating medical kits, diapers, canned goods, baby formula and mil, basic toiletries and clothes to your local Red Cross. Please check the website here: https://www.cruzrojamexicana.org.mx/
2. You can send your donations to this local account:

Mexico, I’m in awe on how you came together in this moment of adversity. Let’s keep being strong #fuerzamexico.
